How to Fix Bufferbloat

  1. Enable SQM/Smart Queue Management (FQ_CoDel or Cake) on your router.
  2. Set bandwidth slightly below actual uplink/downlink so the shaper controls the queue.
  3. Reduce heavy uploads during calls/gaming; schedule backups.
  4. Consider a router with strong QoS/SQM support.
